The gift in an experience..

“..one of the most important things that I did finally “clearly see” is that we make no mistakes, no wrong choices. There simply are no woulda’, shoulda’ coulda’ experiences. There are only experiences and each experience is valuable (and sometimes glorious) in itself. And beyond valuable, those experiences are always perfectly safe because they are always Divinely guided.”

The above is a quote from another blogger. I have read similar passages before. What had me wordpress about it is this insight: Every experience has a gift enfolded within it. Unless, a person is in a state to just see the experience for what it is without judgement (like the blogger did as described above), the gift is never received. We often tend to go through an experience and then either drag it along, or push/pull it to make sense of it, or leave it lying around if there was not enough energy to process it, or blanket it if it was too much to handle, and all the while the gift enfolded in the experience has been there like a pearl in the womb of an oyster.
