On successful art..

What is successful art? …something that at least appeals the tenderest, vulnerable parts of the receiver and brings home a point perhaps in a quiet poignant manner and leaves it there like a flower placed on the mind’s dinner table, but ‘food for thought’ is already on its way through digestion, already moved, leaving the receiver a little more closer to home of their own person. It seems to usually involve the artist placing bits of his/her own vulnerable parts of person in the piece.
